MEET YOUR HOST

Mercedes Bernal is the incredibly talented chef behind Meroma Restaurant in Mexico City. Mercedes grew up in Mexico City, but spent time as a chef in New York City, Rome and London before to returning to Mexico City to open Meroma. Since then, she’s been named Best New Chef by Food & Wine and recently opened her second restaurant. She is one of Wild Terrains’ original partners, and hosts cooking classes and dinners on our Mexico City group trip. She and her mom also traveled with us to Portugal in 2019!
