At Wild Terrains we believe a little bit of magic happens when you give women a space to connect with each other.

We exist for women from all walks of life, in all stages of life. The fearless solo traveler. The new Mom who just needs a freaking minute. The bicoastal BFFs. The inspiration-seeking boss lady. The mom-daughter duo. We aim to give women not only a safe space to explore the world, but also a space to nourish their creativity and build relationships.

We know experiences can be wildly transformative and a lot of tourism these days is surface level. We’re wanderlusting for something deeper. Something more meaningful. We’re finding the energetic heart of the female creative communities in our destinations. We don’t only work with them. We make sure you truly get to know them.

Travel is just how we're doing it.

Lauren is an avid traveler with a deep passion for connecting people and creating meaningful experiences. She has traveled to over 35 countries, and lived in both Argentina and Peru. At home in Washington, DC, Lauren is known as a connector of creative women and hosts a quarterly wine night at her apartment.

Prior to Wild Terrains, Lauren was Chief Marketing Officer at UrbanStems, where she dreamed up and launched their wildly successful collaboration with Vogue. After grueling startup hours left her in a bit of a creative rut, she needed a last-minute vacation. She searched for women-only group trips, but was disappointed by what she found: only activity-specific trips centered around things like yoga, trekking and surfing.

Lauren wanted to travel with other creative women, but also to meet and support the women leading the charge in the local design, art, and food scenes in the places she visited. When she couldn’t find what she was looking for, she decided to create Wild Terrains.
