WILD TERRAINS X SCOTLAND

7 DAYS | 6 NIGHTS

Mist-kissed mornings and crackling fireplaces—welcome to the Scottish Highlands. On our 7-day Scotland group trip, we slow down and savor life at a gorgeous private Highland estate. You’ll weave tweed with the woman behind Scotland’s most beloved textiles, sip whisky where it’s meant to be sipped, soak in a wood-fired hot tub overlooking rolling hills, and explore lush gardens that once hosted Dior on the runway. This is slow travel at its dreamiest—where wild landscapes, women-led craft, and warm hospitality turn every moment into something you’ll want to linger in. In the Highlands, indulgence isn’t loud—it’s thoughtful, cozy, and completely soul-filling.

SCOTLAND ITINERARY

DAY ONE

You’ve arrived in the Highlands — breathe it in. We’ll scoop you up from Edinburgh Airport and wind our way to Susie Whyte’s Dun Aluinn, your private designer estate for the week. Settle into your room, wander the grounds, and marvel at the interiors (can we move in?).

At dusk, we’ll gather for welcome cocktails and conversation — the perfect spark for new friendships. Then, we’ll dig into a traditional Scottish roast dinner, laughter and candlelight setting the tone for a week of Highland adventures.

Meals included: dinner

DAY TWO

After breakfast, we take a short stroll into town to the Glenlyon Tweed Mill, where textile designer Vixy Rae welcomes us into her world. You’ll learn her process, hear the story of Scottish tweed, and even try your hand at the loom.

Lunch back at the house rolls into easy free time — perhaps a wander into Aberfeldy, a quintessentially charming Scottish town with cute local shops and plenty of character. Or curl up with a book and soak in that unmatched Highlands serenity.  We end the day with another delicious dinner shared fireside — the kind that warms you from the inside out.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

DAY THREE

A guided hike straight from our front door? Iconic. We’ll explore rugged Highland beauty, then return to a freshly prepared lunch.

After a little downtime, we step into a whisky tasting experience led by Dewar’s Master Blender, Stephanie Macleod — the right way to warm up after a day outdoors. Dinner caps off a perfect Scottish trifecta: fresh air, strong spirits, great company.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

DAY FOUR

Today is all about sinking in. Enjoy a slow morning, a rejuvenating yoga session, and a leisurely lunch. Linger by the fireplace, grab a nap, journal in a window seat — and if the mood strikes, take a stroll into town to browse a charming local bookstore for your next great read.

We gather again in the evening for a long, cozy dinner at home.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

DAY FIVE

Wake up to breakfast before we head out for a guided wild swim in a nearby loch — a soul-awakening Highland ritual. A lakeside picnic keeps the magic going.

Back home, you’ll have time for a soak in the wood-fired hot tub overlooking the hills. It’s a pinch-me kind of day that ends, as always, around the dining table.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

DAY SIX

This morning, we’re stepping into a real-life garden fantasy with a private tour of Drummond Castle Gardens — yes, the same one Dior used as a runway. Get ready for dramatic views, maze-like hedges, and a whole lot of floral perfection. It won’t take long to understand why garden lovers from around the world make pilgrimages here.

Tonight, we’ll gather for a farewell dinner — the kind you’ll wish would never end.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

DAY SEVEN

One last breakfast before we say our goodbyes. We’ll have you packed up and en route to Edinburgh airport by 8:30 AM, hearts full and already plotting your next Wild Terrains adventure.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
