Meet Aya, our Trip Leader for our Menorca Group Trips.

Born in Japan and now based in Madrid, she first fell in love with the Balearic Islands as a student, captivated by their turquoise waters and laid-back Mediterranean spirit. She studied business in the U.S., built a career at global companies in Japan and Spain, and became the go-to planner for trips and celebrations among her friends and family.

As a Trip Leader, she loves curating experiences that celebrate local traditions while helping travelers feel at ease and connected. With the Japanese spirit of omotenashi, she takes joy in anticipating guests’ needs and creating thoughtful, seamless experiences.

She has always loved spending time on islands, whether exploring the Balearics, enjoying a month in Okinawa, or planning adventures in Hawaii. At heart, she’s more of a flip-flops girl than a high heels one, happiest when near the sea.
