Karissa Becerra is a philosopher, chef, and one of Peru's most influential voices on food education. Trained at the International Culinary Center in New York with a master's in gastronomic sciences, she directs gastronomy at PUCP and founded La Revolución, a nonprofit that builds food literacy in children and adults. An award-winning author and Basque Culinary World Prize finalist, she was named "Figure of the Year" by Somos for her work on food, culture, and identity.
